The selected format is one-edge bound
Jackson’s describes the selected Arches pad as gummed on its short edge. The maker’s range page distinguishes short-side-glued pads from blocks glued on four sides. The word gummed does not mean every edge of every format is glued.
Count stock in the chosen format
One twelve-sheet pad and one twenty-sheet block have different contents even if their paper weight and surface match. If a requirement names a pad, the calculator does not replace it with a block based on total area alone. Actual package format belongs beside the dimensions and sheet count.
A replacement example
A buyer reorderingPPAP23HP should verify that the new listing still says twelve-sheet gummed pad rather than selecting a similar cover with a block description. A large price difference may reflect format, dimensions or sheet count. Resolve those fields before describing it as a saving.
